In order to continue supporting Yucatecan families in vulnerable situations who must remain in their homes, Kekén will continue to deliver food during this stage of the contingency.
Through a bulletin, the company highlighted that the necessary adjustments have been made so as not to affect the continuity of the donation scheme. It should be noted that during the month of April a total of 70 tons of meat product were distributed to the population that most needs it in the communities.
The pork company affirmed that the Community Support Plan will allocate about 60 tons of feed in the month of May, while maintaining logistics and coordination with the State Government and local councils, with the aim of making a delivery orderly and efficient of all donations.
It was specified that the continuity and development of said plan does not affect the operations and commitments contemplated by the company corresponding to the production and supply of the local, national and export markets.
Finally, Kekén highlighted that the well-being of its employees and food support is a priority, so they will continue to promote solidarity initiatives such as the Community Support Plan.
