Kekén to open 1,500 jobs to boost economic reactivation in Yucatán

As a measure to support the economic reactivation of Yucatán and to strengthen its operations in its two processing plants in the state, Kekén will increase its workforce by creating and offering 1,500 new jobs during 2021. The jobs are destined to join the activities of the plant located in Umán, as well as for the start-up of the plant located in Sahé, Tixpéual, which is currently under reconstruction and is expected to begin production at the end of this year.  

The vacancies are for administrative and operational profiles, open to women and men from all over Yucatan. The jobs will have all the labor benefits corresponding to the law, promoting formality, a transcendental element for the economic reactivation and the guarantees of the workers and their families.  
 
In the first stage, 600 people will be hired during the months of May, June and July. During the rest of the year, various recruitment strategies will be established to complete the goal through job fairs in Yucatan communities, among other mechanisms.
