On December 6, 2007, KUO and Grupo Herdez, established a strategic alliance to form Herdez Del Fuerte, S.A. de C.V., a 50/50 joint venture that began operations on January 1, 2008. This company consolidates branded food operations in Mexico, focusing on the production and commercialization of canned and packaged products. In 2024, Herdez Del Fuerte exported products to over 17 countries. The company maintains a diversified portfolio aligned with consumer needs, supported by strong brand equity and a vertically integrated value chain that spans sourcing, production, distribution, and commercialization.
