We are the largest pork producer in Mexico, operating a fully integrated value chain that covers feed production, pig farming, processing, commercialization, and distribution. This vertical integration ensures quality, traceability, and efficiency across every stage of the process. Our products are marketed under the Kekén® brand (domestic market) and Kiniton® (export markets), with a strong presence in Japan, the United States, South Korea, Hong Kong, Canada, and Singapore. We operate a robust distribution network that includes over 440 Maxicarne® retail stores as of year-end 2024, primarily located in southeastern Mexico. These stores also offer grocery items, strengthening our value proposition and enhancing customer service. Production is concentrated in southeastern Mexico, a region with favorable sanitary conditions due to its geographic isolation and status as free from major swine diseases. Processing plants are located in Guanajuato, Campeche, and Yucatán. On December 6, 2007, KUO and Grupo Herdez, established a strategic alliance to form Herdez Del Fuerte, S.A. de C.V., a 50/50 joint venture that began operations on January 1, 2008. This company consolidates branded food operations in Mexico, focusing on the production and commercialization of canned and packaged products. In 2024, Herdez Del Fuerte exported products to over 17 countries.
