Environmental management is a fundamental priority in our operations and strategies. We are committed to implementing sustainable practices, minimizing our environmental impact, and promoting the conservation of natural resources. Through the adoption of clean and efficient technologies and the optimization of our production processes, we seek to reduce emissions, properly manage waste, and promote the responsible use of resources. This comprehensive approach allows us to actively contribute to the protection of the environment.
We focus on achieving operational efficiency by optimizing productivity, profitability, and compliance with current and applicable regulations.
Along with our sustainability strategy, we encourage a culture of innovation focused on processes and products to improve quality and reduce our environmental impact. This approach is reflected in our Quality, Environmental, and Social Responsibility Policies, and we monitor it through operational and resource consumption indicators such as water, electricity, and fuel. At the same time, we promote the development of our communities and the preservation of our natural environment.

We are committed to water management in all our businesses, recognizing that it is a fundamental and important resource, and we have therefore created measures for its responsible use. We have implemented strategies for water conservation, such as the reuse of treated water and rainwater harvesting. We continuously verify the quality of water discharges and undergo internal and external audits (CONAGUA and PROFEPA) to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
We serve on the Yucatan Peninsula Basin Council and collaborate with renowned scientific research centers, such as the Autonomous University of Yucatan and the Yucatan Scientific Research Center, to contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable solutions for water management.

Energy and emissions management is vital to our operations, that is why we manage our consumption and generation. In order to mitigate environmental impacts and continue to meet our sustainability commitments, we seek to implement strategies that reduce our carbon footprint and promote the use of renewable energy sources.
Our goal is to identify best practices and technologies in collaboration with suppliers and research centers, working closely with them to reduce energy consumption and emissions.

We continuously evaluate our performance by monitoring fuel and electricity consumption, and take proactive measures to reduce our carbon footprint and promote more sustainable operations. We comply with current quality standards and regulations, including the RED code, to ensure the efficient and controlled development of our operations.
At the Chemicals sector, we have implemented energy efficiency plans at our facilities with actions to reduce the consumption of natural gas, electricity, and steam. We have also installed fixed and automatic capacitor banks in various electrical networks.
At the Automotive sector, in addition to regulatory compliance, we created a preventive maintenance program for electrical installations and invested in equipment to collect data that will help future projects.
